Pelican's has ALOT going for it! It has the best staff, seafood, happy hour, and ambiance of any place in Victoria or the surrounding areas! It's also been around for more than 30 years, and most of the staff has been there for the past decade! The lighting is low with jazz music in the background. They have a full bar with the best margaritas on the rocks and long island teas I've EVER had! LOVE the fried shrimp, oysters, ratatoullie, clam strips, hawaiin chicken, key lime pie, and cheesecakes. The service is attentive and friendly! I've been there so many times for birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners, and Christmas parties...ALWAYS leaving more than satisfied! I hope it never closes! And I will be there for Sunday lunch every weekend!! I never tip less than 20%! LOVE the Wharf!
